Selling Tips

Based on feedback from some of our power sellers here are some great tips on how best to sell your items on the Nex-Tech Classifieds!

1. Pictures, pictures and more pictures.  Add as many pictures and as many views as you can.  Also show any defects or issues the item has.  Pictures really do sell an item faster.

2. Write a good description of the product.  Give as many details as possible without writing a book.  You never want to simply copy and paste a manufacturer’s description.  Take some time and make sure it is written well and sounds good.  Don’t forget to be honest with any issues or defects.  This will help you avoid any potential issues with the buyer.  If you are selling items like clothes, be sure to include the sizes.

3. Price your item correctly.  Be realistic and consider the quality vs. what you can buy it for new.  To sell items quickly post your rock bottom price.  If you are willing to negotiate, price it a little higher and mark the optional text as “negotiable”.
